Join our Book Club

Over the next three months (from January 2020 to March 2020) our members will be reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  Members will have the opportunity to discuss the book at the monthly networking meetings and also during a book club meetup that will be held in March.

Some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs are avid readers.

  • Bill Gates reads 50 books per year (about one per week)

  • Mark Zuckerberg reads one book every two weeks

  • Elon Musk grew up reading two books a day

  • Mark Cuban reads more than three hours a day

  • Oprah Winfrey reads a book a month

Let's improve our knowledge so we can improve our businesses and become more successful as entrepreneurs.

Needless to say, I had a TON of “WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING??” thoughts.  Thoughts of fear, regret, questions of midlife crisis…lol.  This went on throughout my tenure in beauty school!  Not one person made me feel that way. Not one person questioned whether or not I should even be in attendance. Not one person excluded me!  IT WAS ALL IN MY HEAD!!!!  IT WAS ME!

While going through the motions, something clicked.  I cannot be the only person my age bracket who shares the same exact emotions when venturing into a whole new arena of pursuing their passions and stumbling upon their gifts later in life.  I’m sure there are soooo many other women who have felt the same exact way or are going through it now!  It would sure be cool to have some sort of support system for this type of thing. *lightbulb moment*

ITS ME!!! I CAN BE THAT SUPPORT SYSTEM!  Hence, the idea came about.  Later on, 2019 to be exact, Ageless Beauty Network was created.

This network is a safe haven of positivity, empowerment, support and outlet of ideas, praises or venting place.  I’m looking to turn this into a non-profit organization that will help mature women who have lost their way in life due to unforeseen circumstances and need a “Girl, Hold My Hand” financial support system and or training to help them get back on their feet.  After all, it’s never too late.

Once again, my name is Kai Watson.  I’m a late bloomer and an Ageless Beauty.

Hi! My name is Kai Watson.  I’m 48, a licensed cosmetologist and self-taught makeup artist.  I went to cosmetology school part time during the evening, straight after my 9-5, M-F 18 months straight.  I graduated top of my class Valedictorian!

What makes “me” so special?  I did this at the age of 42 in the year of 2013.  I graduated 2015 at the age of 43.  While doing this, I’m a mom of 3, a wife and much older than the 18-20 year olds who just finished high school.  Gratefully, there were a couple of women around my age bracket that I could relate to.
